For more than twenty years, I’ve built equity frameworks, designed leadership programs, and created the practical systems that help teams navigate conflict, make better decisions, and work across difference. My work makes equity tangible—moving it from values statements into daily practice.

The Wilderness Society | Director of Equity, Culture & Learning

I lead equity and culture work across a 130-person conservation organization. I’ve created systems and programs including:

  • An Inclusive Gatherings Protocol for accessible event planning
  • A Restorative Mediation Program that gives managers structured support for navigating conflict
  • A Building Better Meetings workshop series born from staff frustration with ineffective gatherings
  • Monthly all-staff gatherings for 130+ people that balance information-sharing with genuine connection
  • An equity newsletter with twice the industry standard engagement because it’s fun, accessible, and focused on what people need

I coach senior leaders and mentor emerging leaders on integrating equity into their work, building inclusive team practices, and working across difference.

Karen House Community | Co-Director

I co-directed this community for 22 years, providing shelter and support for unhoused people in St. Louis.

As part of a consensus-based collective, I learned to build and maintain people-centered systems and an internal culture that helped people thrive.

Highlights:

  • Co-managed all organizational operations including budget management, strategic planning, and fundraising
  • As part of an intentional community, co-created conflict resolution processes, retreats, and communication skill builders
  • Facilitated a mentorship program for new members
  • Coordinated a network of hundreds of volunteers and supporters that created a community-fueled place of mutual aid

St. Louis Anti-Racism Organizing Collective | Co-Lead

For nearly a decade, I helped facilitate collective decision-making and designed political education programs to support local racial justice work.

Highlights:

  • Created workshops on issues ranging from policing to feminism and anti-racism that helped people take action in BIPOC-led campaigns
  • Coordinated volunteer networks and maintained partnership relationships across organizations and movements that grounded the work in accountability and trust
