St. Louis Fantasy Maps (2016-2022) was my small business that celebrated nerdy mashups, connected social justice with sci-fi and fantasy, and created collaborative Scavenger Hunts and Escape Rooms for people to gather around.
In addition to these games, I designed I prints, t-shirts, stickers, and greeting cards. The designs themselves evoked surprise, wonder, and glee: rustic Tolkien-style maps of St. Louis neighborhoods, Hamilton-Star Wars mashup posters, a St. Louis Marauder’s Map complete with wax seal, badass Princess Leia social justice messages, and more. I sold my wares at farmers markets, local shops, and online while coordinating all aspects of production and marketing.
St. Louis Fantasy Maps was a labor of love and creativityโan outlet for my squirrely brain to create puzzles and laughter, and a collection of absolutely delightful offerings that brought joy to fellow nerds across the city.
